YSL: Week 14 recap

Monday: Jog with pal; 12 miles; 13 min./mile; 2:37
Tuesday: Swim 1:17, 2600 yards. Endurance Bike 2:30 w/ climbing reps
Wednesday: Swim 1:03, 2100 yards
Thursday: Rest day
Friday: Swim 1:13, 2550 yards; Mountain Bike, 2 hours at steady pace; Recovery Run, 20 minutes
Saturday: Recovery Bike, 1 hour
Sunday: Endurance Run 1:30, 7.9 miles; Endurance Bike 3 hours; 38 miles. Heart rate charts TK.

Total: 16:40 or so

Coach Mike wants to make sure I get in all my volume. Looks like I am, even if I'm not sticking to the prescribed workouts. The truth is, I'm burned all the hell out on road workouts. I fricken hate 'em. The two hours spent mountain biking was a ridiculously soothing balm to my asphalt-abraded soul.

I haven't even felt happy enough to Poetry-Friday myself. :( Well...more on this later.

Great job! Every time I think I've done a decent week I check your workouts and discover you've done about twice as much as me! I just wouldn't know where to find the extra time. It's no wonder you feel pretty fed up with some of it though - you're doing so much. Just think of all the great results you're going to get out of all this hard work. It'll definitely be worth it in the end!
